Privacy notice
Draft, 1 November 2026
This notice explains how Safe Kitchen uses the information you give us through this website.
Who we are
[Company or trading name] (“we”) runs Safe Kitchen. Our address is [Registered address]. Company number: [Company number, if a limited company]. ICO registration: [ICO registration number].
For anything about your data, email [Privacy contact email].
What we collect
Our form has two steps. In step 1 we collect your email address and what you asked for (early access, a demo or a call). We save these as soon as you press the button in step 1, even if you don’t go on to step 2, and the form tells you this before you send it.
In step 2 we collect your name, business name (optional), type of business, number of sites, any message you write and, for a call, the time you chose. Step 2 is optional for early access.
If you tick the product news box, we also record that you agreed, when, and the exact wording you agreed to.
To protect the form from spam we check how quickly it was filled in and how many times it was sent from your connection. We use your IP address for that check but we don’t store it with your enquiry.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
To reply to your enquiry, arrange a demo or hold your call, and to tell you about early access if that’s what you asked for: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. These are messages about what you asked for, not marketing.
To send you product news, only if you tick the box: your consent. The box is never ticked for you, and you can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
To keep the website and form secure and free of spam: our legitimate interest in protecting our service.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (secure database, hosted in London), Cloudflare (spam protection with Turnstile) and Resend (email). They may only use your data to provide their service to us.
We never sell your data or share it for other companies’ marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, including step-1-only enquiries, for [retention period to confirm], then delete them, unless you become a customer, in which case your customer agreement explains what we keep. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep only what we need to make sure we don’t contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, or ask us to limit its use. Email us and we’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), though we’d appreciate the chance to put it right first.
